If you want a Careerflow alternative, the two tools differ most on price and focus. As of 2026-09, Careerflow’s pricing page lists Premium at $23.99 a month and Premium Plus, which adds AI mock interviews, at $44.99 a month. Leepo Pro costs $19 a month. Careerflow is the broader toolkit: a LinkedIn profile optimizer, a job search portal, AI mock interviews and paid reviews by human experts. Leepo is narrower and cheaper month to month. It is built around tailoring a resume for each application from your own experience, then following up when an application goes quiet.

Every Careerflow fact on this page comes from careerflow.ai and Careerflow’s help center, read on September 24, 2026, and is linked where it appears. Careerflow’s own pages don’t always agree on free-plan limits and refunds, and where they differ we say so. Prices change, so check the live page before you pay.

What each free plan includes

Careerflow’s free plan is called Basic. The pricing page lists the Chrome extension, recruiter and hiring manager search, resources and guides, a basic LinkedIn optimizer, basic resume analysis, a skill gap analyzer that shows a score only, and one resume with basic features. The job tracker, networking tracker, autofill and document storage are included in limited form, and the page’s comparison table marks all four as “will be limited soon.” The AI cover letter, bullet point, elevator pitch and LinkedIn post writers are marked as not available on the free plan, although Careerflow’s cover letter page says you can create basic cover letters for free.

The exact limits depend on which Careerflow page you read. The Free vs. Premium Access article in its help center, updated December 23, 2025, lists up to 10 tracked jobs on the free plan. Careerflow’s FAQ says the job tracker has no limit on the number of jobs. Resumes differ too: the pricing page and help center list 1 resume on the free plan, while the resume builder page says you can build unlimited resumes for free. Check what your own account allows before you rely on any of these.

Leepo’s free plan covers unlimited applications and resumes and 3 credits a month, and the credits renew monthly.

What a whole search costs on each

Price the whole stretch you expect to search, not a single week. These totals are simple arithmetic from the published prices.

Twelve months$172.99 (yearly plan)$299.99 (yearly plan)$180 (four quarters)

Over twelve months, Careerflow Premium’s yearly plan costs less than four Leepo quarters ($172.99 against $180), but you pay it all up front.

Canceling and refunds on Careerflow

Careerflow’s terms and conditions (updated January 13, 2024) say subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You cancel yourself, through the Manage Subscription link to the Stripe portal on your Account page, and the terms state that emailing Careerflow is not enough. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.

On refunds, the terms say purchases are generally final, that refunds are at Careerflow’s discretion when you request them from support within 7 days of the original purchase, and that the weekly subscription is non-refundable. Careerflow’s FAQ separately says it offers a refund within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied. If you are trying the weekly plan, assume there is no refund and set a reminder two days before it renews.

Careerflow vs Leepo features, side by side

The Careerflow column describes features as Careerflow presents them on its job tracker, resume builder, cover letter, LinkedIn optimizer, resume optimizer, mock interview, autofill, networking tracker and job search pages and in its help center’s guide to changing a job’s status, as of 2026-09.

Where Leepo is stronger

  • A lower price. Leepo Pro is $19 a month against $23.99 for Careerflow Premium, and $45 a quarter against $54.99, though over a full year Careerflow’s yearly plan costs less. If you also want Careerflow’s mock interviews, the comparison is with Premium Plus at $44.99 a month.
  • Tailoring from your real experience. Leepo’s Career Vault stores your projects, achievements and notes, with GitHub and LinkedIn import, so each tailored resume draws on things you actually did, and you accept only the suggestions you want. See how to tailor your resume for why that matters.
  • Help when applications go quiet. Leepo nudges you when an application has gone silent and reminds you to follow up, and optional read-only Gmail sync lets recruiter emails about tracked applications update their status. Careerflow has deadline reminders, networking reminders and a follow-up emailer too; its help center describes changing a job’s status by hand, by dragging the card or picking from a menu.
  • Outreach kept with the application. Leepo saves the recruiter or hiring manager against a specific application and drafts the referral ask, intro or follow-up for it, which opens in Gmail for you to send.
  • Fixed stops in autofill. Both extensions leave the final submit to you. Leepo Companion also always pauses on questions about gender, veteran status, disability and salary, so you answer those yourself.

When Careerflow might suit you

  • LinkedIn optimization. Careerflow has a dedicated LinkedIn Optimizer, and a basic version is free. It scores your profile, gives a checklist for each section and writes headlines, About sections and posts. Leepo takes a different route: it imports your LinkedIn profile into your Career Vault and tailors every resume from it.
  • Mock interviews. Premium Plus includes AI mock interviews tailored to a role and company, with feedback on each answer and speech analysis. Leepo offers interview prep, not a simulated interview.
  • Finding jobs, not just tracking them. Careerflow’s job search portal pulls listings from 50+ sources and sends job alerts, and its extension saves postings from any website. With Leepo, you paste a job link to import it.
  • Unlimited AI writing on Premium. Cover letters, bullets, summaries, elevator pitches and LinkedIn posts have no cap on Premium. Leepo Pro includes 80 credits a month, under fair use.
  • Human experts when you want them. Careerflow sells a Resume Review and a LinkedIn Makeover by people, not AI. Its Resume Review page lists tiers from $79 for students to $249 for professionals with more than 7 years of experience, shown as a limited-time discount.
  • Options for long searches and students. A yearly plan brings Premium to about $14.41 a month, and the FAQ mentions student pricing and programs through universities and bootcamps.

Looking for a Careerflow AI alternative? What to check

Whichever AI job search tool you try next, judge it on these five questions. They apply just as well to a CV, which is what a résumé is usually called in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand.

  1. Does it compare your resume with one specific posting? A list of that posting’s keywords you’re missing beats a general score. See what a good ATS score is.
  2. Can you trace every suggested line back to something you did? Anything invented is something you’ll have to defend in an interview.
  3. Do you approve every change and every submission? Careerflow and Leepo both do this; hold any other tool to the same standard.
  4. What will the whole search cost? Price the months you expect to search, and read the renewal and refund terms before you enter a card.
  5. What happens after you apply? Look for reminders, nudges or drafts that get the follow-up sent.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Careerflow if

  • Improving your LinkedIn profile is a priority and you want a guided, section-by-section tool.
  • You want AI mock interviews with feedback, and the Premium Plus price works for you.
  • You want one place to search listings from many job boards and get job alerts.
  • You write lots of cover letters and LinkedIn posts and want AI writing without a cap.
  • You would like the option of a paid human review of your resume or LinkedIn profile.

Choose Leepo if

  • You expect to pay for a few months and want the lower price.
  • You tailor every application and want suggestions drawn from your own saved experience, accepting only the ones you want.
  • Applications tend to go quiet on you and you want nudges, follow-up reminders and inbox-driven updates.
  • You ask for referrals and want outreach drafts kept with each application.
  • You want autofill that always stops for sensitive questions and leaves Submit to you.

How to test both in one week

Don’t take our word for it. Start both on the free plans. Careerflow’s pricing table puts its ATS optimizer and keyword analyzer on Premium, so to compare tailoring fairly you may need one paid week of Careerflow Premium, $8.99 as of 2026-09 (non-refundable, per its terms), and Leepo’s 7-day free trial of Pro, which you can cancel before it charges.

  1. Pick three live postings you genuinely want.
  2. Save them in Careerflow with the extension; paste the same links into Leepo.
  3. Tailor one resume for your top posting in each tool, counting the suggestions you rejected as untrue or unlike you.
  4. Draft one follow-up or referral message in each and see which gets you closer to sending it.
  5. Fill in this scorecard for each tool, then decide.

Missing keywords it found that I genuinely have:
Suggestions I rejected as inaccurate:
Minutes until I had a resume I would send:
Follow-up message ready to send (yes or no):
