How it works

  1. 1Paste the job link or the job description.
  2. 2Upload your résumé as a PDF and see your Résumé fit.
  3. 3Save the check with Google. The job and your résumé become an application in your account.
  4. 4On the application’s Résumé tab, choose Tailor for this job. Its changes go on your résumé in green; hover a line to see how it read before.

What every change to your work is checked for

Code checks each change to a line about your work before it reaches the page.

  • A number goes on a line only when your résumé, your Career Vault or your answer to Tailor gives it.
  • A reworded line keeps its numbers. Only when you ask for a shorter line can a count like “with two engineers” go, never a result.
  • A tool you used in a different job isn’t written into this one.
  • A phrase copied from the posting that your résumé never says is refused.
  • A benefit the line never claimed, like “improving reliability”, is refused.
  • A practice the job asks for that a line doesn’t mention isn’t written in. At Balanced and Full, Tailor may ask you instead: “Did this work include …?”

The summary is rewritten for this job. If it would need a number your résumé doesn’t print, Tailor asks you in the chat first.

Choose how far it goes

Balanced is the default. You can choose Light or Full in the Tailor editor, and your choice is kept for the next run.

Light
Spelling, order, cuts and the summary. No new job words or tools go on the points you already have.
Balanced
The job’s words where your work is that work, your own tools named, and a few questions.
Full
Every line that can read better, the job’s words wherever they’re true, and more questions.

The checks above apply at every strength. A cut always waits for you, struck through, until you accept it.

It uses your Career Vault

Notes you keep in your Career Vault or Master Profile can become new points or projects on this résumé. Each goes under the job or project it’s about, never under another one.

What it costs

Free includes 3 AI credits a month. A tailored résumé uses 1 credit, and if Tailor finds nothing to change, none is used.

Pro includes 80 credits a month. Its free trial lasts 7 days and covers 5 tailored applications. The trial needs a payment method; nothing is charged for 7 days, and you can cancel before then. See plans and prices

Frequently asked questions

Does it make up experience or numbers?

Code checks each change to a line about your work before it reaches the page. A number goes on a line only when your résumé, your Career Vault or your answer to Tailor gives it. A tool from a different job isn’t added to this one, and a phrase copied from the posting that your résumé never says is refused. A practice the job asks for that a line doesn’t mention isn’t written in; at Balanced and Full, Tailor can ask you about it. The summary is written for this job, and a number it would need is asked in the chat first.

Will it add the job’s keywords?

Yes, where they’re true. At Balanced and Full, the job’s word goes on a line when that line’s work is that work. At every strength, a tool you already name can take the job’s spelling, such as PostgreSQL for Postgres. Light puts no other job words or tools on the points you already have.

Do I have to keep every change?

No. Hover a line to see how it read before, and Undo takes any change back. Some changes, such as a cut, wait for you instead: you accept or reject each one, and you can ask why it was suggested.

How many résumés can I tailor for free?

Free includes 3 AI credits a month, and a tailored résumé uses 1 credit. Pro’s free trial covers 5 tailored applications over 7 days. If Tailor finds nothing to change, no credit is used.

Is this keyword stuffing or hidden text?

No. Leepo doesn’t hide words on your résumé. A job word goes only where your work backs it, and the strength sets how many places one word can be added: at most 1 place at Light, 2 at Balanced and 3 at Full.

Will employers know I used AI?

We can’t tell you what an employer will think. You decide which changes stay, and each line about your work says only what you’ve told Leepo: your résumé, your Career Vault and your answers.
